Auto-Lock
Enhanced security for the things that are precious to you. As the largest door in the home, the garage door plays an important role in protecting what is valuable to you so in response to a growing demand for extra security and convenience, B&D® offers the Auto-Lock.
How it works
Every time you close your garage door the Auto-Lock sends a heavy duty bolt through the guard rail helping to prevent thieves from being able to force it up and open - all without the need for a key.
Auto-Lock comes standard on B&D® Panelift Icon Sectional Door and is available as an optional extra on B&D® Panelift Sectional Doors. And yes, Auto-Lock can be installed on many existing garage doors but must be coupled with a compatible B&D® Automatic Opener. Contact us for details regarding compatibility with your existing door.
Wireless Safety Beams
Safety beams provide added safety and security, particularly if you have young children or pets. If the infra-red beam is broken whilst the door is closing, it will automatically stop and reverse. B&D® always recommends the use of safety infra-red beams on all automatic garage doors.

Combo Access Device
Recommended where the garage door is the only entry point. Allows you to open the door manually during a power failure, using a key to remove the barrel with a cord attached to the disengagement handle. Also allows for key electrical operation.
Suits rolling door openers.
Emergency Key Release
Recommended where the garage door is the only entry point, the Emergency Key Release will enable to you to manually open your sectional/rolling door during a power failure.
When the door needs to be opened manually, you simply turn the key, which releases the barrel, pull out the barrel which pulls on the rope to disengage the opener, Therefore allowing you to manually open your garage door.
Battery Back Up
Provides peace of mind that if the power supply to your garage door opener is broken, the door will still be operational with the rechargable battery back up.
Features
Continually charges while mains power is connected. Automatically switches to back up power even during mid cycle. Has self protection system to prevent damaging total discharge. Provides up to 14 up/down cycles when fully charged.
